Schools round-up

Right wing Patrick Brophy was the spark behind St Michael’s College’s 8-3 victory over Gonzaga College, with the only try of the game on half-time, in the Leinster Schools Section C Junior Cup first round at Anglesea Road on Tuesday.

Presentation Bray came from 10-3 down with one minute of normal time remaining to stun Castleknock College 15-10, with late tries from number eight Jason Harris-Wright and second row Alan Dempsey, at Donnybrook.
