Connacht will renew the rivalry between old boys Gavin Duffy and Mel Deane as Harlequins fended-off a brave recovery by Brive to emerge 61-44 winners, on aggregate, in their Parker Pen Challenge Cup quarter-final.

Irish out-half Paul Burke always kept 'Quins comfortably ahead, with five penalties, of an increasingly desperate Brive, who did manage to take the second leg 36-20.

The two-legged semi-final will be played over Easter weekend (April 9-11) and the following fortnight (April 23-25).
