Heineken Cup hero Barry Davies has failed to win a place in the Wales squad for this season’s RBS 6 Nations Championship.

Llanelli Scarlets full-back Davies, whose stunning solo try helped put his team into the Heineken Cup quarter-finals with victory over Northampton yesterday, misses out in a 31-man squad announced by Wales coach Steve Hansen.
