The draw for the first two rounds of the Heineken Munster Junior Cup has been announced.

The opening two rounds are regionalized with two first round games in the north of the province and 14 in the south. The draw for the first round, which will be played on January 11 is:

FIRST ROUND: Abbeyfeale v Kilfeacle; Garryowen v Shannon; Clonakilty v Youghal; Dolphin v Muskerry; Castleisland v Fermoy; Charleville v Skibbereen; Mallow v Tralee; Kinsale v Carrick-on-Suir; Waterpark v Dungarvan; Old Christians v Clonmel; Douglas v Crosshaven; Dunmanway v Cork Constitution; Ballincollig v Highfield; Sunday's Well v Kanturk; Cobh Pirates v Midleton; Bandon v UCC.

Eight teams from both north and south will qualify for the third round and they will go into an open draw. The second round is scheduled for Sunday, January 25 and the pairings are as follows.

SECOND ROUND: Bruff v Clanwilliam; St Senan's v Young Munster; Thurles v Cashel; Nenagh Ormond v Old Crescent; Abbeyfeale/Kilfeacle v Garryowen/Shannon; Thomond v Ennis; U.L.
