Ireland skipper Keith Wood announced his retirement from international rugby after his team's 43-21 loss to France in the World Cup quarter-finals in Melbourne.

Ireland skipper Keith Wood announced his retirement from international rugby after his team's 43-21 loss to France in the World Cup quarter-finals in Melbourne.

The hooker has played 58 Tests in a career spanning nine years and three World Cups.
