Connacht Supporters Club ready for launch

The Connacht Rugby Supporters Club will be officially launched next Saturday at the Galway Sportsground.

The newly-founded club will welcome back the Connacht team to the Sportsground with great pride, after their heroic win over Llanelli last weekend.

Connacht rugby is on a high after four away matches saw three significant victories and a semi-final slot in the Celtic Cup.

This is coupled with the honour of being named European Club of the Week.

"I urge all Connacht rugby supporters and indeed rugby supporters to come along with a friend/family to the Galway Sportsground on Saturday, from 1.30pm onwards to the official launch of the Connacht Rugby Supporters Club," said Ann Heneghan, chair of the new Supporters' Club.
