England are the benchmark - Mitchell

New Zealand coach John Mitchell believes England have come a long way since he left their coaching set-up three years ago.

Mitchell went on to coach the Waikato Chiefs in Super 12 and then led the All Blacks to the Tri-Nations title last year.
