McGeechan changes things

Scotland coach Ian McGeechan has reshuffled his back line for tomorrow’s encounter with the Barbarians at Murrayfield.

Chris Paterson switched from wing to make his first international start at stand-off, with Gregor Townsend moving to inside centre.

In addition James McLaren, moves out from midfield to left wing in place of Paterson.

McGeechan said: “We don’t have blinding pace behind the scrum, so we have to try to create something different.”
