Former Northampton chief executive Keith Grainger will take up his post as the new tournament director of the Celtic League tomorrow.

Former Northampton chief executive Keith Grainger will take up his post as the new tournament director of the Celtic League tomorrow.

The 45-year-old has also worked on the commerial side at both Leicester and Newcastle.

League chairman John Hussey said: “I’m delighted that the flagship professional tournament of the three Celtic unions – Ireland, Scotland and Wales - has been able to secure Keith’s leadership.

“He has a very firm understanding of the demands of the professional game and his commercial acumen is second to none.”
