Longwell fit for AIL final

Ireland second row Gary Longwell looks like recovering from a neck injury to take his place in the Ballymena second row, alongside Ulster team-mate Mark Blair, for the All Ireland league final against Clontarf on Saturday at Lansdowne.

This will probably lead to former Ireland Under 21 captain Matt McCullough’s re-location to the blindside, where he has made such an impact through the season.

Clontarf, relatively unburdened by the absence of contracted players during the season, should be able to select from a full-strength squad.
