Flanker James Cockle has joined London Irish’s injury list and will miss the Zurich Premiership home game against Leeds on Sunday.

Cockle ruptured a tendon in his finger during the 18-15 defeat at fellow strugglers Bath last week, so his place will be taken by Declan Danaher.

Also unavailable for selection at the moment are Justin Bishop (ankle), Kevin Burke (knee), Glenn Delaney (ankle), Paul Gustard (torn biceps) and Richard Kirke (shoulder).

Irish are currently in 10th place, level on points with the two teams immediately below them, Bristol Shoguns and Newcastle.
