Businessmen call for Lansdowne redevelopment

Businessmen in Dublin have urged the Government to redevelop Lansdowne Road rather than building a new national stadium at Abbotstown, in the west of the city.

Dublin Chamber of Commerce said its research found that 76% of Dublin businesses would prefer a stadium located in the city centre, while only 17% expressed a preference for Abbotstown.
