St Mary's kept their play-off hopes alive with an uninspiring victory over UCD at The Bowl today.

Tormenter-in-chief was St Mary's out-half Nathan Spooner, who added two conversions from Jonathan Ellis and Conor McPhillips tries, and two penalties.

Eoghan Hickey opened the scoring for UCD from a penalty and minutes later David Blaney surged over for a try which Hickey converted.

Hickey added another conversion to a Louis Burke try but Mary's were marginal value for the win.
