Ballymena beat Con to move second

Ballymena are up into second in the AIL after their 24 point win over Cork Constitution at Temple Hill.

Ballymena led at the break 12-0 thanks to two superbly created tries with former Irish winger James Topping the star of the show in the first half.

Scott Young crashed over for a try in the 24th minute and right on half-time Adam Larkin went over for a try which he converted himself.

They led 26 -0 by the 66th minute with Russell Nelson and Paul Shields going over for tries to secure their bonus point.

Tomas O’Leary scored a late try for Con before Adam Larkin sealed a wonderful evening for the visitors when he kicked a penalty right on full time.
