New trio in Scots Sevens squad

Scotland have named three newcomers to their squad for the IRB World Sevens series in the Far East later this month.

Scotland have named three newcomers to their squad for the IRB World Sevens series in the Far East later this month.

Boroughmuir centre Malcolm Clapperton, Watsonians utility-back Colin Gregor and Tynedale number eight Jamie Murray are all included.

Murray, 24, has played for both Northumberland and the Scottish Exiles and qualifies for Scotland through a paternal grandfather from Nairn.

The IRB series starts in Hong Kong from March 28-30 and continues in Beijing on April 5 and 6.
