Castleknock College gained revenge for their defeat to St Michael's College in last year's Leinster Schools Junior Cup final with a 6-3 win at Donnybrook today.

Out-half Brian Collins shot penalties, one in either half, to get the better of his kicking dual with St Michael's Andrew Cummiskey, who levelled it up from a 40th minute penalty.

St Mary's College qualified for a quarter-final tilt at favourites Belvedere College thanks to a 28-0 win over CUS at Lakeland's Park. Clongowes Wood College edged out Skerries CC 5-0 at Barnhall.

St Gerard's College and Naas CBS drew 3-3 at Merrion Road. The replay will be at Templeville Road on Friday.

Leinster League winners Cistercian College Roscrea had their clash with Kilkenny College at Portlaoise postponed until Thursday
