Struggling Terenure conceded seven tries at Dungannon, and it could have been worse against a home side which dominated for all but 10 minutes.

The Cunningham brothers, Bryn and Jan, both got in for scores inside the opening 15 minutes, but Terenure did have their chances in the opening half-hour.

It wasn't until the final 10 minutes of the half that they began to look like a genuine threat, however, and a fine individual try by out half Dave McAllister brought them back into contention.

And when full back Shane Cullen took advantage of some hesitant defending to score a second, the sides were level at 12 each at the interval.

Dungannon's forward power began to tell in the second half, and tries soon followed from props Mark Farquhar and Garl Leslie.

Man of the match Tony McWhirter made it five while Terenure no 8 Cormac Long was in the sin bin, and the Tyrone men completed the rout with late scores from Seamus Mallon and substitute Peter Sandford.
