Cork Con suffered their fourth defeat in a row at the hands of UCD in an entertaining encounter which produced nine tries at Belfield.

Cork Con suffered their fourth defeat in a row at the hands of UCD in an entertaining encounter which produced nine tries at Belfield.

Playing against the wind, UCD established a 21-5 interval lead and although Cork Con closed the gap to six points with two early second half tries, left wing Ross Jackson scored two tries to seal the victory for UCD.

Outhalf Eoghan Hickey kicked four conversions and a late drop goal for the home side, while Con failed to convert any of their four tries and had three players sin-binned.
