Connacht supporters are reminded that the Friends of Connacht Rugby are running a special train from Galway to Dublin next Thursday to attend the Save Connacht Rugby protest march.

The train will depart from Galway on Thursday at 11am, and it will be returning from Dublin at 7pm. The return fare is €20.

All Connacht clubs are invited to send a delegation to travel on the train. Club members must liaise through their own club, and club secretaries must confirm travelling numbers to Ollie Turner at Galway Bay FM by Monday evening (091-770077 or email: oturner@galwaybayfm.ie).

The protest march will start with a letter being handed in to the IRFU Headquarters at 62 Lansdowne Road at 4pm, followed by a demonstration at Lansdowne Road before the IRFU committee meeting which is scheduled for 5pm on the same day.

Rugby players and supporters from other clubs and schools in Leinster, Munster and Ulster, and sports fans in general, are invited to join the protest.
