Buccaneers triumph in Galway

Visitors Buccaneers had their first ever AIL Division One victory in eight league attempts at Crowley Park, and it was fully deserved.

Both sides were without their Connacht players but the visitors adapted best and led 12-3 at the break thanks to tries by Justin Meaher and Conor O'Loughlin with Lee Turner converting one.

Colm Glynn got a penalty for Galwegians and later added two more but second half scores from a Lee Turner Penalty and conversion, and a try by Niall O'Hara, sealed victory.
