Iarnród Éireann has announced special arrangements for the Parker Pen Challenge Cup quarter-Final between Connacht and Pontypridd on Saturday in Ericsson Park, Athlone (kick-off 5.30 pm).

A train will depart Galway at 3.10pm and will serve Athenry and Ballinasloe. The return train will depart Athlone at 8.55pm and will arrive in Galway at 10pm.

The return fare will be €10 from Galway, €8 from Athenry and €6 from Ballinasloe. Children under 16 years are half the adult fare.

Ericsson Park is approximately 10 minutes walk from Athlone Railway Station.

Match tickets, costing €15 for adults and €5 for under-16s, are available from the Connacht Branch office at Galway Sportsground, Keller Travel in Ballinasloe, Bank of Ireland, Church Street, Athlone, and ‘The Bounty’, Ericsson Park, Athlone.

Supporters are asked to purchase tickets in advance of the big game.
