The Connacht team to play Leinster at Ericsson Park in Athlone this Friday (5.30 pm) has been selected.

A number of players, including Darren Yapp, Eric Elwood and Manus Uijs, have been ruled out through injury but Steph Nel still fields a very strong side as Connacht bid for their second win over Leinster this season.

The team is: Gavin Duffy; Ted Robinson, Dermot O'Sullivan, Shane Moore (capt.), Wayne Munn; Mark McHugh, Mike Walls; Dan McFarland, Henry Bourke, Peter Bracken; Alan Maher, Rowan Frost; Michael Swift, Eric Peters, Johnny O'Connor.

Replacements: James Norton, Martin McPhail, Eoin Reddan, Chris Keane, Ronan McCormack, Wesley Maxwell, Jerry Flannery, John Muldoon, Fabien Boiroux and Colm Rigney
