Try blitz puts Clontarf top

A second half try rout from Clontarf turned an 8-3 lead into a facile win for them to go top of Division 1 at Castle Avenue.

Hooker Bernard Jackman's try in the 38th minute edged Clontarf in front and further tries from Alan Dignam, Ronan O'Reilly, James Downey and Ollie Winchester stretched the lead to 34-6.

John Smith stole over for Lansowne's only try late in the game.
