Injury rules Moody out until New Year

Young Leicester flanker Lewis Moody, who performed so strongly for England in their recent Test wins over New Zealand, Australia and South Africa, will be out of action until next year after undergoing shoulder surgery.

Moody damaged his shoulder during England's record-breaking 53-3 win over the Springboks last weekend, forcing him to leave the field after only 15 minutes of play.
