Edinburgh Gunners wing Chris Paterson will be fit for the Celtic League quarter-final against Cardiff on Saturday.

The Scotland international suffered a scratched eye during the win over Fiji at Murrayfield on Sunday and was taken to hospital for tests.

But Edinburgh manager Ian Rankin insists he has a clean bill of health after the internationals ahead of the last-eight clash.

Rankin said: "We had seven players involved with Scotland A against Fiji last weekend and another five in the Test match, and the good news is everyone has returned fit and well.
