County Carlow got their AIL Division One campaign off to a winning start with a deserved 24-6 win over visitors Terenure College at Oak Park, Carlow today.

The home side led 10-6 at half-time, courtesy of a 22nd minute try from right wing Mark Buckley.

Second half tries from replacement centre Mark Cook and flanker Daniel Mallon confirmed the deserved win for the home side.
