Former Scottish captain Eric Peters will make his debut for Connacht in a pre-season friendly against London Wasps at Adams Park in High Wycombe on Sunday (kick-off 3 pm).

Former Scottish captain Eric Peters will make his debut for Connacht in a pre-season friendly against London Wasps at Adams Park in High Wycombe on Sunday (kick-off 3 pm).

The 33 year old No.8, capped 29 times by Scotland, has been included in a strong Connacht side which takes on a Wasps team now guided by their former coach Warren Gatland.

Also included in the starting fifteen for the first time is former Australian lock Warwick Waugh, who came on as a replacement in Wednesday night¹s friendly against Bristol.

The Connacht side shows wholesale changes from the experimental young side which went down 33-24 to the Shoguns.
