UCD led 13-0 at the break as outhalf Eoghan Hickey converted his own try and kicked two penalties.

But DLSP stormed back with tries for Mark Cross, Richard Candlin making 12-13 before Broughton¹s first drop goal and a Jason Critchley intercept try decided matters.

UCD grabbed a late consolation score through Dermot O¹Sullivan to reduce arrears to 20-22 before Broughton kicked his second drop goal in injury time.
