Six Nations: Logan recalled to Scotland squad
Kenny Logan has been recalled to Scotland's 24-man squad for the Six Nations Championship game against Italy.
The 29-year-old has not figured since last year's Six Nations match against the Italians at Murrayfield through injury and loss of form and he missed Saturday's defeat to England.
But Logan was drafted back into a strong squad and he was delighted with his return.
"I'm pleased to be back in the squad, but for me there's a lot more to be done," said Logan.
"I have to play well and support the team in whatever role I've got for the game. I want to win for Scotland, and that job starts in Italy."
Edinburgh duo Nathan Hines and Craig Smith and Glasgow's Graeme Beveridge also return for the showdown in Rome on February 16.
Glasgow's veteran scrum-half Andy Nicol was dropped from the squad.
