Rugby: Richards interested in Stringer

Leicester coach Dean Richards has admitted he would be interested if Irish scrum-half Peter Stringer became available - but insists he has made no approach for the Munster man.

Stringer was outstanding in Ireland's Heineken Cup victory over Stade Francais in Paris on Saturday, and is expected to line up for the squad in the opening Lloyds TSB Six Nations encounter with Wales in Dublin at the weekend.
