Galwegians, despite playing into the raging gale, managed to snatch a deserved win at the death.

The hero was out-half Bryan Shelbourne who kicked a match winning penalty three minutes into injury time with the wind in his face.

Remarkably St Mary's had taken the lead only one minute before from a try.

Galwegians had led 15-03 at half-time thanks to two tries.
