Six Nations: Wales missing Robinson for Irish clash
Jamie Robinson could miss out on his Six Nations debut for Wales against Ireland because of injury.
The Cardiff centre is likely to be ruled out with a hamstring problem.
Llanelli's Leigh Davies has been called up by coach Graham Henry for the clash at the Millennium Stadium.
Davies trained with the Wales squad at their Vale of Glamorgan base. If Davies makes the starting XV, then it will be his first Wales appearance since a World Cup warm-up game against Canada more than two years ago.
A decision on Robinson's fitness will be made in the next 24 hours.
He won two caps as a replacement during Wales' summer tour of Japan, and was selected for Saturday's rearranged clash alongside 36-year-old midfield partner Allan Bateman.
Davies, who has produced consistently impressive club form this season, made his Test debut against Italy in 1996 under Henry's coaching predecessor Kevin Bowring. But he has only featured once - in the Canada game - since Henry took charge more than three years ago.
Bath scrum-half Gareth Cooper, meanwhile, has lost his fitness fight to be on the replacements' bench this weekend, so Llanelli youngster Dwayne Peel will act as cover for Rob Howley.
