AIL Rugby: Terenure secure first victory
Galwegians 12 Terenure 25
Second half tries from flanker Kavanagh and out-half Governey ensured Terenure their first win of the season against Galwegians at Crowley Park.
The home side failed to exploit the raging gale at their backs in the first half and only lead 12-10 at half-time thanks to four penalty goals by scrum half Shelbourne.
A try by hooker Egan which was converted and a drop goal by player-coach Putt had left Terenure in prime position to secure victory, which they did with little fuss.
