Celtic League: Irish sides win openers
Munster, Leinster and Ulster have all won their opening games in the inaugural Celtic League.
Munster beat Edinburgh 25-22 at Myreside thanks to a Jeremy Staunton penalty four minutes from the end of the game.
Leinster ran out comfortable 39-11 winners over Glasgow in Donnybrook, with Brian O’Meara’s accurate kicking, including two penalties in the opening five minutes, putting the game beyond the Scots.
In Ravenhill, David Humphries scored 15 points as Ulster beat Swansea 30-13. Ireland’s fourth team,
Connacht, will take on Cardiff in Wales today.
