Lions/Australia: Perry kick was first of key moments
Key moments in today's Lions/Australia match:
One minute Matt Perry belts the ball straight into touch inside his own half but Australia fail to take possession from the line-out.
3 Jonny Wilkinson finds Dafydd James with a flat pass and the Welsh winger flies 40 metres but knocks-on as Matt Burke makes the tackle.
6 George Smith penalised for offside as the Lions drive forward from a line-out. Wilkinson lands the 30 metre kick. AUSTRALIA 0 LIONS 3
11 Toutai Kefu illegally uses his boot in an attempt to win the ball, Wilkinson on target again from 25 metres. 0-6.
13 Tom Smith goes over the top of the ball at a ruck. Recalled full-back Matt Burke goes for goal on halfway but drifts his kick to the left of the posts.
18 Lions twice refuse the option of a clearance kick in broken play, concede a scrum from which Rob Howley moves offside. Burke halves the deficit from in front of the posts. 3-6.
21 Superb midfield break from Brian O’Driscoll but he fumbles as Smith comes in to make the tackle.
25 O’Driscoll chip and chase sets up a rare Lions attack. The Irishman goes down injured but play moves out wide and Wilkinson’s chip to the corner is run out of play by Andrew Walker barely a yard from his own line under pressure from Richard Hill.
26 As O’Driscoll continues to receive treatment, Keith Wood finds his man at the line-out, the Lions drive forward and Neil Back burrows his way over. Wilkinson fails with the touchline conversion attempt. 3-11.
34 Wood produces a trademark 30-metre charge deep into Australian territory, Martin Johnson takes the ball on and finds Hill but he can’t take the pass.
36 Hill forced off with a bloodied nose after the previous incident, Martin Corry takes over.
38 Johnson and Quinnell both catch Stephen Larkham with a high tackle, Burke brings the Wallabies back into the game from 35 metres. 6-11.
38 Hill returns.
39 Burke penalised for holding onto the ball in the tackle but Wilkinson fails to convert the long-range penalty.
40 David Giffin limps off, replaced by Matt Cockbain.
41 Martin Corry thrown on again at the interval, Hill standing down.
42 Wilkinson throws a long, flat pass intending to release the back line. Instead Joe Roff intercepts and despite pressure from O’Driscoll, manages to touch down in the corner. Burke misses the conversion. 11-11.
46 Lions penalised for offside, allowing Burke to put Australia in front for the first time. 14-11.
49 George Gregan and Larkham combine to send Roff away again. After brushing off Dafydd James, he runs through Jason Robinson and slides over for his second try. Burke converts. 21-11.
51 Wilkinson 35-metre penalty miss.
52 Iain Balshaw on for Matt Perry.
57 Finegan penalised for holding onto the ball. Wilkinson’s 25-metre kick brings the Lions to within a converted try. 21-14.
60 Balshaw charges down Burke’s clearance kick but Larkham keeps his cool and smothers the loose ball just long enough for the support to arrive and clear the danger.
65 Finegan brilliantly squeezes the ball out of the tackle, finding Burke in support. With five team-mates at his back, Burke barges over the line and collects his side’s third try, although he can’t add the conversion. 26-14.

76 Burke lands another simple penalty after Neil Back penalised. 29-14.
77 Wilkinson carried off with a leg injury sustained in his attempt to tackle Daniel Herbert in the previous passage of play. Neil Jenkins takes over at fly-half.
80 Burke lands injury-time penalty to seal an impressive win. 32-14.
