Cork Con ended Ballymena’s hopes of sneaking into the play-offs by defeating them 33-31.

Dungannon confirmed their play-off position with a 39-34 defeat of Garryowen.

Young Munster kept their fourth place with a 47-18 defeat of Belfast Harlequins and Galwegians secured their second spot by beating Buccaneers 19-18.

Elsewhere Clontarf beat Blackrock 23-11, Lansdowne lost to DLSP 21-30, Shannon were defeated 24-31 to Old Crescent and St Mary’s College beat Terenure College 24-15.
