Six Nations: Wilkinson will be okay - Andrew
Rob Andrew has played down a fitness scare over England fly-half Jonny Wilkinson.
The Newcastle Falcons star had to be substituted after picking up an injury late in the 42-35 victory over London Irish.
But Falcons' Director of rugby fully expects him to be fit to join the England squad.
"He's hurt his neck again - it's the usual problem that he has," said Andrew.
"He'll be fine; he'll go down and join up with the England squad as planned.
"This injury has happened a few times. He has quite a thin spinal column, and it tends to cause him problems if he makes a really big hit in a bid position.
"He's had this problem for two or three years. All he needs is a bit of rest - he probably won't train now until Wednesday."
Andrew blasted his side for their second-half performance at Kingston Park.
"We went from world-beaters in one half to second-rate no-hopers in the second half. I was very disappointed," said Andrew.
"We took our foot of the gas, became complacent and very nearly got what we deserved - and I'm not very happy about it.
"But in the end we got five points from the game which is what we set out to do, although our second-half performance has taken the edge off the victory because we should have beaten them by 60 points."
