Six Nations: Jenkins' rallying call
Neil Jenkins has called for a significant Six Nations improvement from Wales when they tackle France in Paris.
Two years ago, Wales won 34-33 on French soil - but Jenkins knows it will require a massive effort to emulate that achievement.
Jenkins said: "France can be incredible on their day.
"I watched them when they beat New Zealand last November and, to be honest, I thought the tape was on fast forward.
"We have got nothing to lose - no one expects us to win - although we are going to need to play a lot better than we have been doing.
"We just want to improve from the Scotland game when we had a big lead but then let it slip," he added.
"France's style has changed a bit since we played here in 1999. They don't seem to throw the ball around like they used to, but you never know what is going to happen on the day with them.
"They can be outstanding or mediocre - but one thing is for certain, they have got a lot of good players."
