THE inevitable return Brian O’Driscoll and Denis Hickie to the Irish team has left coach Warren Gatland in upbeat mood in advance of the Lloyds/TSB Six Nations clash with France at Lansdowne Road on Saturday.

Gatland admitted yesterday it was one of the easiest selection meetings for some time as he announced two changes from the team that defeated Italy in Rome ten days ago. And he is convinced the deadly duo will help press Ireland’s claims to finish ahead of last season’s third place with three wins and two defeats.
