Rugby Sevens: Ireland face Portugal in semis

Ireland, who have won the bowl in their two previous world series events, will face Portugal - 19-14 winners over Zimbabwe with a ‘golden try’ - in the semi-finals later.

France, who were seeded to reach the last eight of the main event, the Melrose Cup, saw their interest ended by Kenya (12-7) while Chile beat Hong Kong 19-14 in the other bowl quarter-final.
