Women’s Sevens face tough mission in Olympic qualifiers

The Ireland Women’s Sevens squad to play in the second round of European Olympic qualifiers in Brive this weekend will share a pool with England, Scotland and Germany.

Ireland won the Plate Trophy in the opening round of competition in Russia and hope to build on that, even iftheir opponents are competing on the World Circuit.

The Ireland Men’s Sevens squad will take part in Rugby Europe Men’s Division B tournament in Croatia and would appear to face less daunting opposition in Slovenia, Bulgaria and Austria.
