Date change for Crescent and CBC Munster Junior Cup final

The SEAT Munster Schools Junior Cup final between Crescent Comprehensive and Christian Brothers College has been put back from St Patrick’s Day to the original date of March 19.

The Munster Branch decided following the second semi-final between CBC and PBC to make St Patrick’s Day a double header.

However there was an immediate response from CBC coach Tom Crowe who argued that young players should not be subjected to having to play two games in such a short space of time.

Following those protests, the Munster Branch has now decided to push back the game and the senior final between Rockwell and Ard Scoil Ris will be played at Thomond Park (2pm).

The junior final will go ahead two days later at the same venue (2pm).
