McGagh tries pave way for Blackrock

A brace of Michael McGagh tries proved crucial in Donnybrook, as champions Blackrock College defeated Gonzaga College in the Leinster Schools’ Junior Cup quarter-final.

Following flanker McGagh’s tries, Blackrock held a 14-point interval lead before centre Liam Turner added a sublime 38th-minute try. Gonzaga’s tries came from full-back Andrew Coman and prop Matt Meagher.
