Terenure’s late burst does trick

Terenure College 43 The King’s Hospital 19: Munster Junior Cup: Terenure College turned on the style in the final-quarter to get the better of King’s Hospital in the opening round of the Junior Cup at Donnybrook yesterday.

After Terenure’s Adam La Grue had exchanged a brace of tries with his opposite number Daniel Eiffe, a stoppage-time Sam Dardis five-pointer meant they held a 20-12 advantage at the break.

King’s Hospital kept the game alive with a 46th minute score from Felix Campbell, before full-back Dardis completed his hat-trick in a late scoring burst for Terenure.
