Connacht led at half time, but lost 33-24 to Exeter Chiefs

Connacht’s European Challenge Cup hopes suffered a setback after failing to secure a home win against pool favourites Exeter at the Galway Sportsground yesterday.

Despite a first-half lead, Connacht’s could not quell the Chiefs’ power play, and they now go to France hoping to bag a bonus-point win and a possible runners-up spot.
