O’Brien back with Argentina high on his priority list

Sean O’Brien hopes it’s not too late to catch Joe Schmidt’s eye after making his comeback from a shoulder injury he sustained against Ulster last December.

The flanker lasted 51 minutes in the win against Edinburgh last weekend which set up Leinster for a home Pro12 semi-final against Ulster and a repeat of last year’s final.

Ireland travel to Argentina in June and while O’Brien can understand if Schmidt feels he needs more time, the tour destination is something which very much appeals to the Carlow man.
