Ulster’s Henry targets Blues as play-off spot hangs in balance

Ireland flanker Chris Henry is in no doubt that Ulster have a fight on their hands to be involved in the Pro12 shoot-out at the end of the season.

Ulster’s Henry targets Blues as play-off spot hangs in balance

Ulster’s destiny remains in their hands after Glasgow leapfrogged them last weekend, but the Ospreys are ready to pick over their carcass in fifth place. With table-topping Leinster visiting Ravenhill tomorrow Ulster need five points from their remaining two games to book a semi-final place. But Henry knows it is gong to be tough.

ā€œIt’s always nice at this stage of the season to have a few points to cushion things, but we don’t, and we’re fighting for our lives at the moment,ā€ said Henry. ā€œIt’s frustrating because we’ve under-performed against Glasgow and before that we haven’t been at our best. As players we know that and we’re trying to take responsibility for that and now we’re going to have to bring out one of our best performances.
