England star to be grilled after Irish fan bought his ticket online

England rugby player Owen Farrell is under investigation after a ticket he was given for last weekend’s Six Nations clash was sold online to an Irish fan for five times its face value.

Rose Waldron, who is originally from Tullamore, was “desperate” to go to the Triple Crown clash between Ireland and England at Twickenham.

“I’d tried every other avenue and at 10pm on Friday night I decided to buy a ticket online,” she said.
