Leinster await O’Brien damage report

O’Brien did the damage 53 minutes in, receiving considerable medical attention before being helped from the field in obvious pain, and word from the dressing-room was that the diagnosis was a dislocation.

Head coach Matt O’Connor was less definitive afterwards but the odds are that Carlow man now faces a couple of months out with the problem and is a major doubt for the first half of Ireland’s Six Nations campaign.
