Munster troubled by injury woes

Munster could pay a heavy price for their Pro12 victory over Scarlets.

Munster troubled by injury woes

BJ Botha limped off with a knee injury, minutes after front row colleague Duncan Casey was concussed. Later in the game, Dave O’Callaghan and Tommy O’Donnell were also withdrawn, each of them with possible concussion.

Botha will have a scan today, although the coach Rob Penney is hopeful it’s not serious. “It’s a funny one, BJ felt as if he possibly could have played on after he did a bit of weight bearing on it and started to walk around, so we’re hopeful that tomorrow he’s going to wake up and it’s not going to be a problem.”
